All around the holding….
So….. deep breath and here goes….. Back at the end of April…. the Polytunnel finally had its skin put on!! We almost immediately started planting and moving some of the seed across that we had started in the house off into the tunnel…. Spring finally arrived after the seemingly relentless winter!! A Full farm update….
i.e. since William was born!!!! We have been busy bees, painting, architraves, skirting…. James’ parents have been amazing and have done soooooo much painting and James and his Dad have done all the woodwork upstairs!!! Its nearly at the point of having carpets put in upstairs and painting started downstairs!!!! So in Photo Format!!! Phew…

Front steps!!!
Over half term James and his father carefully built a whole set of concrete, brick and paving slab steps!!!!! Don’t they look fantabulous!!!!!!!! Clever husband and father in law!!!!!!!

The builders are back!!
Yes we finally got the draw down we needed and have managed to get builders back on site!!!!!!! Upstairs is now plaster boarded and work is starting again downstairs!!! Excuse the dust ghosts and cue the pictures!!!!

Bye bye giant drain hole!!!
James and his father spent a few days last week sorting out the giant cavernous drain hole in our yard, which we have had a black pallet over to prevent someone falling in for over a year now!! Brickwork, cementing, bolts, a heavy duty grate which we had already in the hole, but was way…

We don’t need a Ramped access!!!!!!
Hurrah, Building control said we dont need to make a huge unsightly front door ramped access we can have an access via the barn!!!! Building control also said he needs the commissionings for the heating, electrics and plumbing, he needs to see stairs with all the guard rails in and steps front and side appropriately…
