We. Have. Carpets!!!!!!!!!!
I spent some time at the holding mid week with baby bear in order for the carpet fitters to come to fit all our upstairs carpets!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh sooooooooo exciting and soooooo squishy and good!!!!! Baby bear agrees!!

A Full farm update….
i.e. since William was born!!!! We have been busy bees, painting, architraves, skirting…. James’ parents have been amazing and have done soooooo much painting and James and his Dad have done all the woodwork upstairs!!! Its nearly at the point of having carpets put in upstairs and painting started downstairs!!!! So in Photo Format!!! Phew…

An update on all the building work at the farm!!
Well since my last post was tiling here goes with a photo montage of all that’s happened!!!! Which I warn you is a LOT!! Front door has been weatherboarded Electricians have finished most of their work We have upstairs steps and are no longer walking the planks!! James and his Dad…

Tiling!!!!
After some superb spy work by the lovely Sarah!! We have sneak preview of tiles!!! Actual tiles on the floor!!!!!!

Priming floors for the tiler to start!!!
33 and a half weeks pregnant and I managed to help to prime the floors!!! Luckily James’ marvellous parents helped him do the majority of the work and the whole of the downstairs was ready for the tiler to start Monday!!!!!

Furnishings delivery!!
So as well as all the bathrooms being stored upstairs we now have a three piece suite in the bedroom, a sofa bed in the tin but, a chair bed in the tin but, work surfaces for the kitchen and utility in the tin hut and kitchen units in a dry horse box!!!!! …

Balcony!!!
James and the parents worked really hard to fit the balcony over half term…. Unfortunately a pane of glass got smashed, so we needed to wait for another pane to be delivered to complete the balcony!!! But it’s getting there!!

Another building update!!!
James and I spent half term at the smallholding with both sets of parents and a variety of buildery types!!! Ladies and gentlemen we have some progress to report!!!! We have electrification!!!!!!! We have radiators installed!!!!!! Heating upstairs!!! Flues and working stoves downstairs!!!! Exciting times!!!!

Last weekend!!!
More work done!!!!!!! A plastered kitchen and utility!!!!!!!! And a boarded lounge!!!!!!! Hurrah!!!!!!
