Recently we have been working hard on getting the area in the first barn behind the house turned into a workshop for all the tools and for doing some of the jobs we need to get done around the place….. including me making a heap of toys for Sir and for future Forest School plans…

Shave horse!
Last weekend my Dad brought down a shave horse he built me! This weekend James and I spent some time making stakes to stabilise woodland steps!!! I think we ended up with about 32, at four per step….. Mmmmm….. 8 steps….. Few more to make me thinks!!!

Another weekend at the farm!
Last weekend we went to the farm with my Mum and Dad, so naturally we got a few jobs done!! Mum and I did some extreme sloe picking, meaning the hedgerow needed cutting back from the gate a smidge and we could reach some of the really good sloes so…. Stihl motor plus extendy chain…
