Water water everywhere!!!
When will all this rain stop?!?!?? The road flooded, because soooo much silt came down… And blocked the drains… The winter stream with more water flow than ever before… Swirling away down the partially cleared drain….

The other week James, helped by my nephew (who was digging for treasure and tunnels!!) dug out the drain hole between barns two and three….. The Hugely heavy drain cover was hauled off…. The poo, mud and oil dug out of the drain….. A jet wash pipe shoved down to see if it was clear…

Bye bye giant drain hole!!!

It’s getting to be a fortnightly task!
Drain clearance!!!!! Yes leaves, rocks, silt all blocking the drains and causing the road to get some very large puddles!!! So I am trotting off down the lane each fortnight adorned with my new wellies and a shovel and clearing the drains!!
