Well for those of you that don’t follow me on any other social media, here is the little reason for my absence from blogging for the last two months!!
William was born way back in April….. 10 days late, after I had had to stay in hospital being induced for four days!!!! Upon our arrival at hospital he turned…. Having previously been in perfect position for delivery he swivelled back to back and then decided to come out face first, oh yes and he poohed before he “left the building” so he was born with green hair!!!!
He is gradually getting the hang of sleeping… he most definitely has the hang of feeding having gained 3 pounds in six weeks…. He has started water babies swimming…. He has met family members…. He has visited the farm a lot….. He loves his music, particularly Ed Sheeran and has basically rocked his Dad’s and my world in so many amazing ways!!!
It’s tough on times, even harder initially when you feel like crap, have stitches on stitches or so it feels like because you can’t sit straight, and you are leaking left right and centre. Sleep deprivation is a b***h, purple lansinoh cream is a life saver when it feels like he is using broken glass to hack off my nipples, colic is hideous, but ameliorated by an elevated Moses basket/gripe water/carbo veg and Colitwinkles!!! (The last two being homeopathic remedies)
BUT those smiles!!!!!
That little tigger like hoo hoo hoo laugh…..
The fact I’ve managed to breastfeed!!!!
The hilarious comedy huge burps and nappy rumbling farts!!!!
That baby smell!!!!!
Makes everything worthwhile!!
Well congrats! He is so precious. That photo of him swimming is incredible.
I’m now a follower.

Thank you!!! Originally the barn was totally derelict! We bought a shell with a roof after the previous owner did a bit and gave up!
