Hearth stone!!
Over half term James and I found our way out of the other side of Llandysul to a fantastic Slate Yard and we acquired our hearth stone for the lounge log burner!!!!! One huge chunk of slate sat waiting to be bedded into the lounge floor!!!!!

A walk over the valley
After losing Polly neither James nor I could face working and weed wars so we decided to explore the locale and walked up to the chapel in the opposite valley!!!

Once more into the slurry pit
Whilst James and his father were felling and clearing the trees his mother and I spent some time discovering and removing a load of slate from the slurry pit. We think the barn’s old roof was dumped in the pit along with all sorts of other stuff during initial building works!!! Grrrrrr…….. So we began…
