Shop – Yarn
Welcome to our collection of nature-inspired, hand-dyed yarns, crafted from the fleece of our no-kill flock, lovingly raised on our smallholding in West Wales. Each skein is dyed by Ellie over a traditional wood-fired burner, using a mix of acid and natural dyes foraged from the land. Our yarns capture the beauty of the landscape, offering a truly unique and ethical fibre experience with every purchase.

Let every stitch carry the essence of the forest beneath your feet.

Pastorale Yarns
Our Shetland and Welsh White blended yarns combine the best qualities of two distinct breeds, creating a yarn that is both versatile and rich in texture. The Shetland wool brings softness and natural elasticity, making it perfect for intricate stitch work, while the Welsh White wool adds a crisp, clean finish and durability. This blend produces a yarn with excellent stitch definition and a soft handle, ideal for everything from fine lacework to warm, cosy garments. Each skein is hand-dyed to highlight the natural beauty of these fibres, offering a unique blend that celebrates the heritage of both breeds.
Bardic Yarns

The Brecknockshire Cheviot wool brings strength and resilience, making the yarn ideal for long-lasting garments, while the Aberfield wool adds softness and a gentle loft, ensuring a comfortable and cosy feel. The Cheviot lambs wool adds strength and structure, making the yarn durable yet lightweight, while the Aberfield lambs wool provides a delicate softness and loft. This blend is perfect for creating cosy, wearable garments with a luxurious feel, offering both warmth and breathability. Hand-dyed in small batches, each skein reflects the natural beauty and quality of wool from our carefully cared-for flock.
HIlltop Yarns
