The third of the Hobbity Harvest series of yarns

A blend of our Hobbit named sheep’s Hogg fleeces, basically their first shear.  Bilbo, Thorin, Beorn, Tauriel, Idril, Baalin and Dwalin have carefully grown these fleeces for the whole of their first year and we have spun them into the most glorious and special yarn!! This wool is soft and yet robust and is the perfect choice for a whole range of projects!!

100 grams in a skein of Sock weight/ 4 Ply

Approximately 400 metres or 437 yards per 100gm skein

Fibre Content:  100% pure wool, Valais, Kerry Hill, Llanwennog, and Welsh White

Needle Size Recommendation : 2.5-3.5mm

Care : Hand wash or machine wash cool, dry away from direct sunlight.

Please bear in mind that I dye skeins in small batches through dip dyeing and hand painting, so if you have a large project in mind, please contact me so that I can make sure you get skeins from the same lot or I can also dye a specific lot up for you!!
